Which ever way you look at it, in fundraising it’s all about results. Do we collect enough money to fulfill the mission of our organization? And do we do this in an efficient manner? We therefore have to constantly measure whether we are doing well.

In this training we focus on a series of key figures, Key Performance Indicators, that gives us an insight into how healthy our fundraising is. We achieve various levels: the level of fundraising as a whole, the level of each fundraising program separately and the level of donor relations. We contemplate the difference between short-term and long-term, and ensure that we do not use key figures that are deceiving.  

Not every key figure is relevant to every organization. You leave this training day with a customized list of key figures.

This training is given by Ilja De Coster, vice president of the Fundraisers Alliance Belgium and senior fundraising consultant. For over 20 years he has been supporting the fundraising of several large and small organizations. He is the Fundraising Data Strategist at Amnesty International and since january 2017 he is Director of Donor Relationship Management and Data Strategy at The DonorVoice.
